On a national holiday in Italy, numerous restaurants were closed, and the streets were bustling with tourists. It was quite a pleasant surprise when we stumbled upon a delightful and serene spot just half a block away from the main street. The ambiance was cozy, and the food surpassed our expectations. The staff members were friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed their delicious dishes and the accompanying wine.

This place is very nice and cozy, the perrson incharge was very friendly and very well good spoken English. Croissant with pistachio cream was the best! just few minutes walk to the Doumo cathedral and nnot that far from the malls.

Cute place near the main shopping street to enjoy an aperitivo! Super friendly guy running the place too - delicious Campari & Aperol spritzes!

In a big city like Milan, there are literally hundreds of restaurants which often means you spend a long time trying to decide which is best! Anyway, on a recent trip there, my wife and I happened upon this little gem for lunch. What a treat! Very small and cosy with interesting and atmospheric décor, it turned out to be an excellent experience. The food was really, really superb and the service fast and friendly. Well worth a visit if you are in Milan but either go early or book ahead - the locals seemed to know all about it which is always a good sign!

I will talk about le jardin, the food wine restaurant which is the same as le jardin pastry. It was a disaster. We ordered two simple dishes, one carbonara and one hamburger. I will start with the hamburger which was as if they cooked it yesterday and today they warm it in a microwave and serve it and it cost 14 euros. Such a disappointment. in the carbonara one could see the eggs as if it was omelette with some spaghetti inside.. The waiter offered to get me a new burger though yet I had to leave. I would not recommend it. Two stars for the wine

Good service and food in a small and cozy place, but you have in mind spend about 20-30 per head. Also due his small space is good idea to come early. About 10-11 (breakfast) and 13-14 (lunch) is really busy. They have few but nice options about pastas like spinach canelones, tagliatelle Bolognese, Cacio e pepe o pesto, and I don't remember if they have also any antipasti. Pasta is greatly good cooked following the Italian way. All dishes comes accompanied of parmesan cheese to add. They have some nice desserts and cakes as well. The ambient is specifically good to come solo, with a few friends or your partner. Definitely I think is not the best place for big groups or families, specially because is small and quiet.

Is the food worth 5 stars? Maybe not. But the whole experience was worth the 5 stars. This little restaurant is a family restaurant and you can feel that. The chef and I think the owner was very friendly. The food felt very homemade. For some people this will be both a downside and for some a upside. It felt raw in that sense you felt that home cooking experience. I ate the Mushroom Risotta and the Carbonara. Both were very good if you enjoy them. I recommend visiting here if you’re looking for something more homemade cooking experience.

I came to this cafe every morning during my two week stay in Milan. It’s ruined my life because I will forever miss their cappuccino and pistachio croissant breakfast. Nothing beats this cafe where I felt like home.
